THE OFFICIAL APP OF THE ILLINOIS CHAPTER OF NECA! The IllinoisChapter, National Electrical Contractors Association was charteredMarch 10, 1945, as one of the autonomous Chapters, now totalingapproximately 120, of NECA. The Chapter is incorporated under thelaws of the State of Illinois as a nonprofit corporation and holdstax exempt status under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal RevenueCode as a Trade Association. The Chapter presently is composed ofeight (8) Divisions where the Chapter holds bargaining rights forits members and other electrical contractors in the area. TheDivisions are: Alton/Wood River, Bloomington,Champaign-Urbana/Streator-Pontiac, Danville, Midstate, SouthernIllinois, Southwestern Illinois and Springfield. The general areain the State of Illinois included in these Divisions ranges fromthe Streator-Pontiac area on the north to the Missouri and Kentuckystate lines on the south and from the Beardstown area on the westto the Indiana state line on the east.

The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters andMillwrightsrepresents 14,000 carpenters and millwrights across thestate ofMichigan. Our member carpenters help build diverseprojects, largeand small, residential and commercial. Unionmillwrights work withprecision machinery, installing andmaintaining everything fromconveyor systems to turbines andgenerators. Our members workclosely with contractor partners acrossthe state to provide thebest trained, most productive, and safestworkforce in theindustry.
